Dar E Umar (RA) offers eight courses in the Islamic sciences — from Spoken Arabic and Arabic Grammar to Fiqh, Hadeeth, Tafseer and Aqeedah — together with the Aalimiyyah Programme.
Our name
Our name honours Sayyiduna Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him. It is always written with (RA), short for radiyAllahu ʿanhu: “may Allah be pleased with him”.
Our emblem
The gold dome and its three arches form a house of learning: a doorway every seeker can walk through, from first lessons to the Aalimiyyah Programme. Our slogan says the same thing in four words — Where Seekers Become Scholars.
